Description
Keeping a garden free of unwanted visitors usually means a trade-off between chemicals you'd rather avoid and fences that don't really work. This solar-powered repellent skips both. A built-in PIR sensor picks up movement from any direction and instantly triggers a mix of ultrasonic sound and flashing LED lights, aimed at scaring the animal off before it gets close to your plants, bins or property line. What makes it useful across a whole property is the range of five operating modes. Mode 1 (13.5-19.5 kHz) targets rats, dogs, rabbits, foxes and minks; Mode 2 (19.5-24.5 kHz) covers cats, raccoons, badgers and skunks; Mode 3 (24.5-45.5 kHz) is tuned for bats, birds, mice and other small animals. If sound alone isn't cutting it, Mode 4 runs flashing lights only, and Mode 5 combines every frequency with the lights for maximum deterrence. A solar panel on top keeps the unit charged through the day, and a USB port with indicator lights gives you a backup charging option on cloudy days or indoors. At 3 W output and 5.0 V operating voltage, it runs continuously without needing constant attention, so once it's mounted, you can largely leave it to do its job.
